[語法] (1)定冠詞のついた複数名詞や固有名詞, 名詞を直接修飾できない. 「全メンバー」は all (of) the members か the whole of the members とし, ^×the 〜 members としない. 「全アジア」は ^×〜 Asia でなく all (of) Asia か the whole of Asia. 「そのビール全部」は ^×the 〜 beer でなく all (of) the beer という. (2)単数名詞を修飾するとき： the 〜 house＝the 〜 of the house＝all (of) the house その家全体.
