[語法] (1)[right の修飾する語] at, till などの前置詞, down, up などの副詞, here, there などの場所副詞, away, afterward などの方向副詞の前で用い( →3, →4, →5), 様態の副詞などとは用いない：^×He went to war with Mike 〜 quickly. (2)[強意語 right と「動詞+副詞辞」との結合] 副詞辞の前に置かれる： smash his face 〜 in 彼の顔をぶんなぐる / keep 〜 on growing どんどん大きくなる. (3)1-3の right を強調するには通例 very, enough でなく quite で修飾する.
