[語法]
(1)3つ[3者]以上については any, any one

n of ... を用いるのが普通： any one of us 我々のうちだれでも1人.
(2)either は((正式))では通例単数扱いだが, ((正式))以外では of 句の複数(代)名詞(句)に引かれて複数扱いが多い. 特に否定・疑問文では通例複数扱いとする： I don't think 〜 of them are at home. 彼らのどちらも家にいないと思います.
(3)[either と not の位置] any と同じく, either の後には not は不可( →any 【形】 2[語法](3))： Neither of them came. 2人とも来なかった(×E〜 of them did not come.).
