【語法】 過去・過去分詞は fitted であるが, 《米》 では, 口語では 《英》 でも, 特に (1) 受身が不可能なとき(例: That suit (has) 〜 (me) in the past.) や (2) 主語が人でなく to 不定詞を伴わないとき (例: My training (has) 〜 me for the job.) に fit を用いることもできる.
