[語法] (1)自動詞の直後・疑問文の文尾には通例用いない： talk about [^×concerning] politics / What is the article about [^×concerning]? しかし, 電話をかけてきた相手に ‘What is this concerning?' (「何のご用ですか」)とすることは可能. (2)目的語との分離はしない；the news about [^×concerning] which I know nothing. (3)whether 節は目的語としてとるが if 節は不可； →whether [語法].
